Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how INTEGRITY LEGAL CONSULTANCY LLC-FZ (trading as Integrity Legal Consultancy), a limited liability company registered in the Fujairah Creative City, Media Free Zone under trade licence no. 20710/2026, with its registered address at M1 Floor, Twin Towers, PO Box 4422, Creative City, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates ("Integrity Legal", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us or become a client. We are the controller of that personal data. You can reach us about privacy at info@integritylegal.ae or +971 50 766 4227.
We respect the confidentiality of everyone who contacts us. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations, the professional duties of confidentiality that apply to legal work, and, where they apply to you, other laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
2. What we collect
When you visit the website
The website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other sites. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data needed to deliver the site securely, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, and may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks. This data is used for security and performance only.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the website: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, the type of device and browser, the approximate country or city, and whether visitors use the consultation form, WhatsApp, phone or email links. We use this only to improve the website. We never send Google your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into the form, and we do not use the data for advertising.
On your first visit, a notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that last up to two years, so that returning visits can be recognised. If you decline, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set, and Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals without an identifier, such as the page viewed and the time, which Google uses to estimate overall visit numbers. Your choice is saved in your browser so that we do not ask again, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, and we keep analytics data for 14 months. Google acts as our service provider and may process the data outside the UAE. Google's own use of data is explained at policies.google.com.
When you contact us
If you use the consultation form, email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to give: typically your name, email address, phone number, the type of matter and your message. Please do not send identity numbers, documents or sensitive details through the website form; we will ask for what we need through a secure channel once we have confirmed we can act for you.
When you become a client
To act for you we may need identity documents, contact details, information about your matter and the people involved in it, financial information, and, depending on the matter, sensitive data such as information about health, family or criminal proceedings. We also carry out checks required by law, including anti-money laundering and conflict checks.
3. How we use your data and why we are allowed to
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and arranging a consultation | Your consent, and taking steps at your request before an engagement |
| Providing legal services once you instruct us | Performance of our engagement with you |
| Conflict checks, identity and anti-money laundering checks | Legal obligations |
| Keeping records, billing, and defending or bringing legal claims | Legal obligations and our legitimate interests |
| Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse | Our legitimate interests in protecting our systems and visitors |
| Understanding how the website is used, with Google Analytics | Your consent for analytics cookies; our legitimate interests for cookieless, aggregate measurement |
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising or profiling, or make decisions about you by automated means alone.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with people bound to protect it:
- Our service providers, acting on our instructions: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), website analytics (Google Analytics), email delivery for the consultation form, and our email and document systems.
- Professionals working on your matter with your instruction: licensed UAE advocates where a court appearance is needed, our parent firm UK & Co. Law Firm and other counsel in India for matters that involve India, translators, notaries and experts.
- Courts, authorities and regulators, where the law requires it or it is needed for your matter.
5. Transfers outside the UAE
Some providers process data outside the UAE, including Cloudflare and Google for website hosting and analytics, and matters involving India require us to share information with counsel there. When data leaves the UAE we take the steps the law requires, including relying on adequate protection in the destination country, contractual safeguards with providers, or your consent where you have instructed us to act in another country.
6. How we protect it
- The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), with strict security headers.
- Enquiries sent through the form are passed directly over an encrypted connection to our inbox. The website itself does not store them, and our systems do not log their contents.
- Access to client information is limited to the people who need it for your matter, all of whom are bound by confidentiality.
- We review our security measures regularly. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will act promptly and notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become matters: deleted within twelve months of our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Client files: kept for as long as required by law and professional obligations, which for files subject to anti-money laundering rules is generally at least five years after the matter ends, and then securely destroyed.
- Technical website data: kept by our hosting provider for short periods for security purposes.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the law, including legal professional confidentiality, you have the right to:
- be told how your data is processed, and obtain a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased or its processing restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable form;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing (for analytics cookies, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page); and
- complain to the UAE Data Office, or to the authority where you live.
To use any of these rights, contact us at info@integritylegal.ae or +971 50 766 4227. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law allows.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen through the website. Matters concerning children, such as guardianship in a will, are handled through their parents or guardians.
10. Other websites
Our pages link to government and other websites, and to WhatsApp if you choose to message us there. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
12. Contact
For any question about privacy, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@integritylegal.ae or +971 50 766 4227, or write to us at M1 Floor, Twin Towers, PO Box 4422, Creative City, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. See also our terms of use and disclaimer.
