The former ISRO scientist S. Nambi Narayanan was falsely implicated in the 1994 espionage case and arrested. Our counsel, Adv. C. Unnikrishnan, took his fight to the Supreme Court of India.
The Court held that his arrest was unnecessary and that he had suffered a violation of his fundamental rights. It awarded him ₹50 lakh in compensation and constituted a committee to look into the conduct of the officials responsible.
In 2012, two Kerala fishermen, Gelestine and Ajeesh Pink, were shot dead by Italian marines aboard the oil tanker Enrica Lexie, off the coast of Kerala.
We acted for their families and secured ₹1 crore in compensation for each family within a matter of months, an outcome that changed how compensation is approached in maritime and accident cases in India.
Our counsel acted without fee for a meritorious student from an economically disadvantaged background who had been denied MBBS admission. The case went to the Supreme Court of India, which decided it in her favour.
