Adv. C. Unnikrishnan is the Founder and Chairman of Integrity Legal and the managing partner of UK & Co. Law Firm, Cochin, India, of which Integrity Legal is the UAE venture. A native of Kollam, he enrolled as an advocate in 1994 and trained under Senior Advocate M. R. Rajendran Nair at the High Court of Kerala in Kochi, whom he regards as his guru and mentor.

Over more than thirty years he has practised from the district courts to the Supreme Court of India, with deep experience in criminal, civil and corporate litigation.

Landmark matters

• Nambi Narayanan. He won justice for the former ISRO scientist wrongly implicated in a fabricated espionage case. The Supreme Court of India awarded ₹50 lakh in compensation and constituted a committee to act against the officials responsible.
• The Enrica Lexie fishermen. He represented the families of the two fishermen shot dead by Italian marines aboard the oil tanker Enrica Lexie, obtaining ₹1 crore in compensation for each family, a precedent-setting outcome in maritime and accident compensation.
• Pro bono. He is committed to pro bono work, including securing MBBS admission for a meritorious but economically disadvantaged student, a case ultimately decided in her favour by the Supreme Court.
