Immigration advice in Dubai and the UAE

For individuals, families and employers: the right visa, the right documents and a clear plan when something goes wrong.

In short

UAE residence is tied to a sponsor or a qualifying category, such as employment, investment, property ownership or long-term golden and green visas. Problems usually arise at renewal, cancellation or when a fine, ban or labour dispute gets in the way.

We advise on the visa that fits your situation, prepare and check the documents, deal with cancellations, status changes and fines, support family sponsorship, and help employers keep their workforce compliant.

How we can help

I

Residency, investor and employment visas

We explain the categories you may qualify for, including long-term visas, and what each requires.

II

Visa cancellations, status changes and fines

Grace periods after cancellation, changing status without leaving, overstay fines and how to resolve them.

III

Family sponsorship

Sponsoring a spouse, children or parents: income requirements, attested documents and renewals.

For employers: work permits, cancellations and keeping records in order, so the business and its people are protected.

V

When a ban or case affects your visa

A travel ban, absconding report or labour complaint can block a renewal or a new visa. We deal with the underlying issue first.

How it works

From first call to resolution

  1. Your situation

Your current visa, sponsor, nationality and plans, and any fines or cases.

  2. The right route

We explain which category fits and what it needs.

  3. Documents

We check and prepare documents, including attestation of certificates from India and abroad.

  4. Submit and follow up

We guide the application and follow up until the matter is closed.

After a visa is cancelled

When a residence visa is cancelled, most holders have a grace period to leave the country or change status, and the length depends on the visa category. Overstaying after that period leads to daily fines, which have been unified at AED 50 per day for most visa types. Our guide on visa cancellation and the grace period explains the details and what to do if you are close to the deadline.

Attested documents

Degree certificates, marriage and birth certificates issued in India usually need attestation before they can be used for UAE visa and employment purposes. We tell you which chain of attestation applies and help with the documents.

FAQ

Immigration: your questions

It depends on your visa category. Most residence visas carry a grace period, and longer periods apply to some long-term visas. Check your status with the immigration authority, or ask us to confirm it.

The daily fine for overstaying has been unified at AED 50 per day for most visa types. Fines can usually be paid or, in some cases, waived during official amnesties.

It can complicate it. A ban or open case usually needs to be resolved first. We look at both together.

Fees are quoted after the first consultation, once we know the visa type and any complications, and agreed in writing before work starts. Government fees are separate.
